Marketing made simple

Run your marketing like a product.

We start by understanding your business, your goals and how you operate. Then we support you with campaign work, experience design and development, and digital marketing optimisation.

The method

Marketing isn't a campaign. It's a product to optimise.

A campaign ends. A product gets better. We treat your website, app, emails, advertising, social media and content as a system. We work with you to create a strategy and plan, a release cycle and use measurement to tell us what to do next.

Test

Start with the smallest useful change.

A new landing page, a shorter form, a different first email. Small enough to launch quickly and measure clearly.

Learn

Read the real signal.

Tracking goes in before launch, not after. We read the numbers, not opinions about the numbers.

Iterate

Keep what worked. Cut the rest.

Every cycle ends with a decision. Most tests don't win. The ones that do, we build on.

Automate

Let a system run it.

When a step works every time, it stops being a job for a person and becomes a job for the system.

How we work with you

Your business first. Then the marketing.

We don't start with a package. We start with how your business makes money, what you want to achieve and how your team works day to day. The plan comes from that.

Step 1 · Understand

Your business, goals and operations.

Who your customers are, how they find you, how you deliver, and where time and money leak out.

Step 2 · Plan

A strategy, a plan and a release cycle.

What to change first, how we'll measure it, and a regular rhythm for reviewing results together.

Step 3 · Support

Work

Two apps. Three websites. Real problems solved.

Each one started with a problem for the people who use it and a problem for the owner. Here's what we built for both. Both apps are live on the App Store.

  • Subscription
  • AI recipe pipeline

The Simple Health Method app

A nutritionist-led meal planning app for busy mums who want to lose weight without restrictive diets.

For users
Busy mums have no time to plan meals and no easy way to know what fits their body. Generic diet advice doesn't work for them, and can do harm after pregnancy.
What we built
  • Onboarding that ends with personal daily calorie and macro targets
  • A 7-day meal plan built from a nutritionist's recipe library
  • A weekly shopping list that adds up every ingredient
  • Daily meal tracking, favourites and habit tracking
For the owner
One nutritionist's expertise turned into a product that serves members at any hour. Memberships and access run automatically through in-app purchases.
Built with
Expo (React Native) and TypeScript, EAS Build and Update, a TypeScript API server, PostgreSQL, Airtable, RevenueCat
Today screen: calories and macros eaten against daily targets, and today's meals
Today: targets and meals

Recipe pipeline

Any recipe, live in the app, in under 5 minutes.

Adding a recipe used to mean typing it in, looking up every ingredient and calculating the nutrition by hand. Now the nutritionist sends a photo or a link, and the recipe is ready for members to use in less than five minutes.

Each ingredient is matched to official food composition data. If an ingredient can't be matched with confidence, the recipe stops at a review step until a person approves it, so the macros members see are always checked.

Architecture

Built once. Ready for iPhone and Android.

The key decision was to build the app with Expo (React Native) in TypeScript. One codebase serves both platforms, so going to Android is a build and a store listing, not a second app. Most changes reach members without a store release.

One codebase, two platforms

Each screen is written once and becomes a real native screen on iPhone and Android. A fix or a feature lands on both.

No second app to maintain

Cloud builds

Expo's build service (EAS) makes the App Store and Google Play files. Nobody maintains separate Xcode and Android Studio projects by hand.

Less build overhead

Updates over the air

Changes to screens and logic go straight to members' phones with EAS Update. There is no new build and no wait for store review.

Fixes live in minutes

Thin app, logic on the server

The meal plan engine, recipe data and pricing rules run on the API server, which shares one TypeScript codebase with the app. A server change reaches every member on both platforms at once.

No app release needed

The trade-off: a change to the native layer, such as a new native library or a change to the app configuration, still needs a new store build and review. We track this so those changes are planned, and everything else ships without one.

The Simple Health Method website

The front door for a nutrition coaching business: guides, a 12-week program, 1-on-1 coaching and a podcast.

For users
Busy mums read on their phone, often late at night and one-handed. Pages had to be clear, quick to load and easy to buy from.
What we built
  • A redesigned homepage, coaching hub and program pages
  • Sales and checkout pages for each guide and the 12-week program
  • A free-guide hub that captures email leads
For the owner
GA4 and Meta events matched end to end on every product, so each funnel can be read from first visit to purchase. Claims on the site were checked, and any that couldn't be backed up came off.

Koala Countdown

A calm visual timer for toddlers and young kids, with a website and social content to launch it.

Android version in development.

For users
Toddlers can't read a clock, so "five more minutes" means nothing. Time-outs, screen time and bedtime turn into battles.
What we built
  • A countdown a pre-reader can see: a disc that empties, then a character that celebrates
  • 21 characters, three modes including guided calm breathing, and a parent gate
  • Works offline, no ads, no accounts, no data collected
  • The launch website, support and privacy pages, and animated social clips
For the owner
A one-time purchase with nothing to host: no servers to run and no user data to protect. The 3D characters and celebration videos came from an AI asset pipeline, so a new character takes hours, not a design budget.
Built with
Swift / SwiftUI, Kotlin / Jetpack Compose, static site on Netlify
Koala Countdown website: 'Time they can see coming.' with the app on a phone and a 3D koala
Launch website, koalacountdown.com
Setup screen: choose minutes and a character

Black Lotus

A brand website for a five-bedroom rainforest retreat in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Rated 5.0 from 37 reviews and in the top 5% of Airbnb homes.

For users
Families and groups want to see the house, the rooms and the area before they commit to a big shared trip.
What we built
  • A design-led site with galleries and a local guide
  • Landing pages for large groups, families with kids and hinterland seekers
  • A search content cluster and fixes so pages get indexed
For the owner
A brand that exists outside the Airbnb listing. Guests find the house in search, and the site is ready for direct bookings.

How we go fast

Purpose-built AI systems for every stage of the work.

We don't add a chatbot to your marketing. We design AI systems and processes for each job, from analysis to automation, and a person checks every output before it goes live.

Analyse

Scans of competitors, reviews and search results that take hours, not weeks.

Example: a competitor ad and content report, refreshed on a schedule.

Develop

AI-assisted engineering with written specs, code review and tests, so apps and sites launch sooner.

Example: two native apps built and launched by a small team.

Implement

Asset pipelines that make images, video and copy in your brand, in batches.

Example: 3D characters and celebration clips for Koala Countdown.

Measure

Tracking designed before launch, and reports that say what changed and why.

Example: matched GA4 and Meta events across every checkout.

Automate

Workflows that run by themselves once they prove they work.

Example: a new recipe from photo to app in under 5 minutes.

Questions

Common questions.

We treat your marketing as a product to optimise. First we learn your business, your goals and how you operate. Then we support you with campaign work, experience design and development (apps and websites), and digital marketing optimisation.

Do you build mobile apps?

Yes. We designed, built and launched The Simple Health Method and Koala Countdown, which are both live on the Apple App Store. We handle the spec, design, development, store listing and launch marketing.

How do you use AI?

We design AI systems and processes for specific jobs: analysis, development, implementation, measurement and automation.
